"COCK of the WALK", 6" x 6", Oil on Canvas. As a child I often spent summers in Montana with my family. There were lots of horses, cattle and barnyard animals. So much fun to see the animals and take pictures with my Baby Brownie camera. My love for painting developed later but I have always had a love for the colors and personality of the animals. Yesterday, I just had to try my brushes at a rooster. I named him "Cock of the Walk".. I painted him with Rembrandt and Gamblin artist oil paints and I enjoyed the time painting.
